3 Simple Steps to Obtaining a Mobile Plant Ticket
Complete your Mobile Plant training and receive your ticket & Statement of Attainment (SOA) — the nationally recognised certificate confirming you’ve achieved the required competency to safely operate the specific type of plant equipment you trained on. This qualification demonstrates compliance with Australian WHS plant operation standards and is widely recognised by employers across construction, civil, and mining industries.
Whether you’re operating an excavator, skid steer, loader, or other heavy machinery, follow these simple steps to obtain your official Mobile Plant ticket.
The next step is to book a date that works best for your schedule. Choose from our available sessions and enrol to secure your spot.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which Mobile Plant ticket do I need for my job?
Choosing the right machinery ticket depends on the type of equipment you’ll operate on site. Excavator, Skid Steer, Roller, Loader and other plant courses each qualify you for specific tasks under Australian WHS requirements. If you’re unsure which Mobile Plant course fits your role, contact our team — we’ll recommend the correct nationally recognised unit based on your job requirements or the equipment used at your workplace.
Are Mobile Plant tickets by National Courses nationally recognised in Australia?
Yes. All Mobile Plant training at National Courses (RTO 41072) is fully accredited and results in a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment. Your machinery ticket is valid across every Australian state and territory and accepted by employers in construction, civil, mining and infrastructure.
How long does Mobile Plant training take and when do I receive my certificate?
Most Mobile Plant courses, including Excavator, Skid Steer and Roller training, are typically delivered in a 1 or 2 day practical session (depending on your course). After you complete your assessment, you’ll receive your Statement of Attainment (SOA) on the same day — giving you proof of competency to start work immediately.
Can I complete multiple machinery tickets at once?
Yes. Many students complete two or more Mobile Plant tickets together, such as Excavator + Skid Steer + Loader. We offer combined training options (subject to availability) so you can finish multiple accredited units efficiently. Contact us for current multi-ticket options at your nearest training location or for on-site bookings.
What are the entry requirements to enrol and do I need prior experience?
To enrol, you must be at least 16 years old, bring valid photo ID, and wear the required PPE: long pants, steel-cap boots and a high-visibility shirt.
No prior machinery experience is required — our Mobile Plant courses are beginner-friendly and fully hands-on to help you build practical operating skills.
Do you offer on-site Mobile Plant training and group bookings?
Yes. National Courses can provide on-site Mobile Plant training across Australia, allowing businesses to train staff on their own equipment or at their preferred location. Group bookings, customised scheduling and Price Beat Guarantee options are available for employers seeking accredited machinery training for their workforce.
