| Who can enrol | You must be at least 16 years old. There are no formal prerequisites for RIIMPO320F. | Bring & wear | Bring valid photo identification and your Unique Student Identifier (USI). Wear site-appropriate work clothing, enclosed safety boots and required PPE. It is available as face-to-face workplace training for company groups.
How long is the Excavator Operator course?
The Excavator Ticket course is delivered over 2 days. Participants must attend all scheduled training and assessment sessions.
Is my Excavator Operator certificate recognised nationally?
Yes. RIIMPO320F is a nationally recognised unit of competency. Participants who successfully complete every assessment and meet identity, USI and enrolment requirements receive a Statement of Attainment from National Courses Pty Ltd (RTO 41072).
Do I need prior experience?
RIIMPO320F has no formal prerequisite. We review each participant’s experience, language, literacy and numeracy, physical capacity and support needs before enrolment. Employer or site requirements may also apply.
Will my Excavator Operator certificate expire?
The Statement of Attainment does not have a set expiry date. Employers, principal contractors or sites may require refresher training or recent evidence of competency. Licensing and regulatory requirements can vary by state, territory, employer and industry.

USI Requirements
A valid Unique Student Identifier (USI) is required for nationally recognised training unless an exemption applies. Identity and USI details must be verified before certification can be issued, so incorrect or incomplete information may delay your Statement of Attainment.
